Zip World’s ‘Heaton Park of Horrors’ to transform treetop adventure into fright-filled scavenger hunt this October half-term
A spooky family attraction is bouncing back into Heaton Park this October as Zip World Manchester brings back its Halloween-themed ‘Heaton Park of Horrors’ experience.
Running daily from 10am to 4pm between 25 and 31 October, the popular event turns the park’s Treetop Nets into a haunted adventure high in the canopy, complete with ghouls, goblins and a mischievous scavenger hunt for kids.
Children aged 3 to 16 can take part in the Halloween fun, climbing and leaping through a vast network of bouncy nets suspended among the trees. As they dodge devious demons lurking in the shadows, young visitors must collect hidden bats scattered across the nets without being caught.
Those who complete the challenge will be rewarded with chocolates and sweets at the end of the trail.
Designed for younger thrill-seekers, under-fives must be accompanied by an adult, while older children aged five and up are welcome to explore the course solo. Adults can also spectate for free.
The entire experience costs just £10 per person, and with limited tickets available, organisers are urging families to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Full details and ticket booking are available on the Zip World website.
