The family of Connie Fish have paid tribute to her as police continue to investigate a fatal collision in Little Hulton.
Connie Fish, 87, died after her mobility scooter was involved in a collision with a car on Manchester Road West, Salford, at around 11.15am on Thursday 27 November.
Her family described her as a much-loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was “hilariously funny, caring and thoughtful”. In a statement, they said: “Connie adored her family and brought so much laughter into the lives of everyone who knew her.”
“She had a wonderful ability to make friends wherever she went. Everyone who met her loved her. Her warmth and kindness touched so many people.”
Connie was taken to hospital after the incident but died from her injuries.
Greater Manchester Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is continuing to appeal for information. Officers are urging anyone who saw the vehicle before the incident, witnessed the collision itself, or has relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
