Salford residents are being asked for their views on plans for a new leisure centre on the site of the former Clarendon Leisure Centre.
The proposals include a 25-metre swimming pool, family splash pad, fitness suite and sports hall.
Salford City Council is proposing a five-lane swimming pool and an 80-station fitness suite.
The plans also include a two-court multi-purpose sports hall, a community café and social spaces, with accessible facilities for people of all ages and abilities.
Residents can view the proposals, meet the design team and give feedback at Pendleton Gateway on Thursday 22 October 2026, between 4pm and 7pm.
The council said people unable to attend would also be able to view the plans and submit comments through an online consultation webpage.
Salford City Mayor Paul Dennett said “We know how much local people have missed the leisure centre and we are now pressing forwards with new proposals.”
He said residents’ views would help shape the proposed facility.
Feedback from the consultation will inform the final plans before a planning application is submitted.
