A series of road closures and traffic restrictions will be in place around Heaton Park during the Parklife Festival on 20 and 21 June.
Several roads surrounding Heaton Park will be closed in both directions between 8pm and 1am on Saturday and Sunday.
The affected routes are Bury Old Road, Scholes Lane, Middleton Road, Sheepfoot Lane, Blackley New Road, Meade Hill Road and Heaton Park Road West.
Whittaker Lane will remain open to westbound traffic only, with motorists required to follow a one way system.
Additional restrictions will come into force from 9am each day. St Margarets Road, Perrymeade, Polefield Road, Brooklawn Drive, Lynton Drive, Woodgate Drive, Freshfield Avenue, Roseland Drive and St Margaret’s Close will be closed to prevent parking and drop offs.
Residents will continue to have access where they can provide proof of address or a valid permit. Access will also be maintained for visitors using the park car park.
Sheepfoot Lane and Meade Hill will operate as clearways from 9am until 1am, meaning waiting, parking and loading will not be permitted during those hours. Vehicles breaching the restrictions may be removed.
Parklife has been held at Heaton Park since 2012 and is expected to attract tens of thousands of visitors across the weekend.
The 2026 line up includes Calvin Harris, Skepta, Sammy Virji and Zara Larsson. Other acts due to perform include Rudim3ntal, Nia Archives, Josh Baker, Chris Stussy, Kettama and Andy C.
